DISTURBED - Ten Thousand Fists
Ten Thousand Fists hits you hard in classic Disturbed fashion, but the attentive listener can hear a distinctive change in the sound of the group. Gone are the rough edges on this hard rock machine–they have been filed down to needle-sharp points. The songs carry within their refined sound the anger and intensity that this hard rock group have been known for since their debut in 1996. Perhaps more than most albums on the music scene right now, Ten Thousand Fists acutely tackles many national issues, from the war in Iraq (Deify) to the need of the country to unify instead of fighting against itself (Ten Thousand Fists) to the confusion of the political scene to the common man (Land of Confusion).
I have not heard of any tour dates for Disturbed in the near future, but this is certainly an album that would be awesome to see and hear live.
